When this Panamanian hits the accelerator on his imagination. He finish with a true art of work that makes any ones mouth drop open.
Doriel Arauz who distinguishes a word called “detail” is a humble Panamanian. This clever man is an expert in wood work and has a amazing innate ability to create replicas of cars and trucks in the style.
“I am a cabinetmaker and carpenter by inheritance from my father as a child. I had no financial resources for my toys when I was young. I had to engineer to ability to make my helicopter with avocado, SPAM cans. For my dump truck I us sardines cans.”
“I have the ability and faculty of working with wood. In my spare time I let go of my imagination with my drawing plans, surfing the internet. I started my journey by making a collection of toys with non-toxic paints,” said Arauz.
When he finish every “toys,” like Doriel call his work of art. He is adding them to his collection of toys. For one day to sell them in a major exhibition. This is his big dream. Thought he admits that he has a hard time to sell some of his work because it takes a lot of love to make each of his toys.
But of course he enjoys when someone is shocked to see their “truck or cars” in the room he has his collection ready for the grant day, and meanwhile he is still doing their creations for all brands and all designs. Designs that are chose by Doriel for the photos you see in catalogs and magazines, but what he likes best are the big excavators and the bulldozer types.
The size and model depends on the hours and days that it takes to build his toys. If you care for “detail.” He makes every detail on the bolts of a wheel, the track in a hydraulic excavator and he makes it work like the real thing.
“I want kids to see how you can make toys and the adults appreciate what you can do with imagination and a piece of wood,” said Arauz.

DORIEL WOODENS COLLECTIONS.
I present to you a collection of heavy machinery in a new way never seen before. Made with natural wood, detailed in a way that will not lose it’s veins nor it’s trademarks. Each project it’s hand made and carefully design to its highest quality. Each piece of equipment it made of different kinds of woods such: pine, mahogany, oak and many others. Making each art piece a perfect detailed piece of work.
I have many trucks of different brands with excellent details, for the kind of people that like to collect these kinds of trucks. The interior and exterior are made to be like the ones in the real world, not missing a single detail. I also have many other models of heavy machinery that will take your breath away, in the amount of details they carry. The detail that many of this pieces have, gives them the realistic look like the actual live size. Little by little I will be adding more models to the page so you can check them out.
